Why we built GlanceHQ
Like many parents, we found ourselves with more coming in than we could keep track of.
School emails. Newsletters. Club updates. WhatsApp messages. Letters home. Calendar invites.
Every day brought another stream of information to read, organise and remember.
And the challenge grows with every child.
What starts as a handful of emails quickly becomes information from multiple schools, year groups, clubs, activities, family members and organisations, all arriving at different times, in different places.
As parents of two children, including a daughter with additional needs, staying organised wasn't just about convenience. Missing information could mean missed support, disrupted routines, unnecessary stress and difficult days for the whole family.
We told ourselves we'd stay on top of it all.
Most of the time we did.
But sometimes things slipped through.
A swimming lesson. A school event. A reminder buried in an email sent weeks ago.
The problem wasn't that the information wasn't there.
The problem was that there was simply too much of it.
We wanted a simpler way to stay organised, without constantly searching through emails, scrolling through messages, checking multiple apps, or worrying that we'd missed something important.
So we built GlanceHQ.
GlanceHQ takes the information families already receive and turns it into simple, easy-to-read briefings, helping parents see what matters today and what's coming next.
Whether it's a school letter, club update, birthday invitation, play date, travel booking or family reminder, GlanceHQ helps bring it together in one place.
No complicated calendars. No endless notifications. Just the information you need, when you need it.
We're still building, learning and improving GlanceHQ alongside the families who use it. Every feature, every update and every improvement comes from real feedback from real parents trying to make family life run a little more smoothly.
Our goal isn't to add another app to your life. It's to help make family life feel a little less overwhelming.
Thank you for building it with us.
